Abstract

Job satisfaction plays a pivotal role in shaping employee performance and ensuring organizational success. This research investigates how the work environment and leadership style influence job satisfaction among lecturers at the Management Study Program, Universitas Pamulang. A total of 61 lecturers participated in the study, selected through a simple random sampling method. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess the impact of the two independent variables on job satisfaction. The analysis revealed that both the work environment and leadership style significantly and positively affect lecturers’ job satisfaction. A supportive workplace and effective leadership were found to be key contributors to higher satisfaction levels. These results emphasize the need for academic institutions to cultivate a positive organizational climate and implement leadership practices that support and motivate staff. The study offers practical recommendations for improving faculty satisfaction, which in turn can enhance institutional performance.
